I. Introduction
On 15 October 2021, the Council of Ministers approved the implementation of the Cyprus Digital Nomad Scheme, aiming to expand the business ecosystem and further enhance the economic development of Cyprus.
The scheme allows non-EU/EEA nationals to reside temporarily in Cyprus while working remotely for companies operating outside the Republic.
II. Eligibility Criteria
Individuals eligible under the Cyprus Digital Nomad Scheme must meet the following requirements:
Be a non-EU/EEA national.
Work remotely using telecommunications technology.
Be either:
Employed by a company registered abroad, with the ability to perform their duties remotely, or
Self-employed, providing services remotely to clients located outside Cyprus.
Have a stable and sufficient monthly net income of at least EUR 3,500.
